Gus' owner had some tough decisions to make, when she was losing her home after her husband passed. She first tried to rehome Mj, Bear and Gus and when she could not she contacted PPER. The little guys were both frightened of people at first, but Gus has become a love bug, until he sees Bear get upset and then he goes to his buddy's side to protect him. They are a very bonded pair and once Bear is healthy they will most likely be available for adoption together. First order of business was to get their hooves trimmed and get them on a diet! Both of these boys are obese! They are doing well in the yard with Fritz, Little Joe and Eli. Red is working on halter training and some ground manners, but he is the cutest little guy and does come up demanding scratches now. Right now they need a sponsor for their care and dedicated volunteers to work with them!
