Peggy's owner's health was failing and she spent over a year researching to try to figure out how she could ensure she would be well cared for for the rest of her life--that is when she contacted Pasture Pals Equine Rescue and asked if we could take her. We made the five hour trip to pick up Peggy on 10/19/15. Peggy is a sweet girl. She is trained to ride, pull, and ground drive. Peggy will be an asset to our program for years to come. Peggy keeps her eye on her son Dane all the time. She loves to nuzzle and be groomed. She is not pushy and stands, watches, and waits her turn to be loved on.
