Pasture Pals Equine Rescue

Sophie and her mom Bridget were in a precarious situation, when their owner found out that she had a terminal illness. She had found homes for her horses and other animals but not for the girls together. So she contacted PPER. Sophie was is a good guardian for sheep, however Bridget is not. Sophie is trained to ride, but will need a refresher. Sophie is a real love bug and will stand all day with you if you give her hugs and attention. She was good for the farrier and UTD on shots and coggins. Though slightly underweight, we think Mom, Bridget, has been stealing her feed. They are both wonderful, sweet girls and will not be separated as they have been together for their entire lives. After some training reminders they maybe up for adoption.
