Spirit has returned to PPER! She is now a permanent resident and not for adoption due to injury. When we went to get Lady, we found out she had a filly by her side. We could not get them the same day, Spirit came home with us a couple days after her momma. Spirit is high spirited as her name suggests. She is also a beautiful mover with great confirmation. Spirit came home from over a month of saddle training at Shady Brook Stables. Spirit is now very rideable, but need miles under saddle. She worked her first pony rides fundraiser and did great. Spirit is looking for a dedicated volunteer to help with her training. Spirit is recovering for an injury. The vets say she will recover, but it is going to take a lot of care.
